Join the Art in Public Places Program (AIPP) for delicious discourse at Open Room Austin on February 20th! Bring something to eat and meet up with fellow artists, designers, public art affcionados, AIPP staff, and visiting public art expert Christina Lanzl in an open dialogue about public art. Consider this a modern version of the 18th century French tradition of gathering for cultural discourse. (If it is raining, this event will be cancelled).
Open Room Austin is located on West Cesar Chavez, just east of the Sandra Muraida Way traffic circle. Access from Cesar Chavez or Lamar - limited parking available.
Christina Lanzl is a public art consultant, cultural planner, freelance curator, presenter and author with more than 20 years of experience working with the creative leadership of neighborhoods, towns, and cities to create successful places that become part of our history, part of our evolving culture, and part of our collective memory.
