Receiving Assistance
To receive assistance through the neighborhood centers, you must bring the following:
- Proof of address
- Proof of income
- Picture ID

Basic Services
Basic services provided at neighborhood centers include food pantry and bread distribution, clothes closet, child safety seats, notary services, form/application assistance and employment/case management information and referrals.
Seasonal Services
Seasonal program services include Christmas Bureau applications, income tax assistance, Coats for Kids vouchers and Thanksgiving baskets.
Social Services
Licensed social workers provide to clients social services such as home visits, crisis intervention, grief counseling and case management.
Health Services
Registered nurses provide health screenings and other health services at three neighborhood centers: Rosewood-Zaragosa Neighborhood Center, St. John's Community Center, and South Austin Neighborhood Center.
